When you schedule a Private Training Consultation, a Certified Dog Trainer comes to your home on your schedule to help you reach your training goals.
Fear free, positive reinforcement training is customized to your goals and your life with your dog, as well as your dog's needs and learning style.
Your program goals may include but are not limited to:
~ Better leash manners
~ Doorway impulse control
~ Resolving common household behavior issues such as inappropriate chewing, counter surfing, and jumping on guests
~ Puppy training & socialization
COOPERATIVE CARE PROGRAMS
Cooperative Care, or "Care With Consent" is a program designed to make caring for your pets easier by minimizing your pets' stress.
Cooperative Care programs are personalized to your goals with your dog or cat (or other household pet!)
Your program goals may include but are not limited to:
~ Being able to maintain your pet's nails from the comfort of home
~ Helping your pet tolerate, and even enjoy, being brushed and groomed
~ Finding the least stressful pill, medication, and wound care strategies for your pet
~ Teaching your pet how to feel safe and confident while getting exams at the vet
~ Muzzle training your dog using fun and games
Cooperative Care helps prepare you and your pet for life events before they happen.
DAY TRAINING
PACKAGES
With a Day Training package, a Certified Dog Trainer will work directly with your dog on your training goals. This is similar to a "board-and-train" service, but your dog is trained from the comfort of their home during daytime walks and visits.
My Day Training program includes 2-4 visits weekly, typically lasting for 4-12 weeks depending on your dog, preferred schedule, and your specific training goals.
Your program goals may include but are not limited to:
~ Improving Leash Manners
~ Managing Basic Reactivity Issues
~ "Cooperative Care" Body Handling Practice
SPECIALIZED WALKS/VISITS
Specialized Walks are like regular midday dog walks (M-F 10a-3p), but are typically short-term, and are with a Certified Dog Trainer who is equipped to help you with:
~ Dogs with fear or anxiety, or dogs that struggle with trusting new people.
~ Dogs with medical conditions or dogs receiving post-operative care.
~ Dogs in a weight management program under vet guidance.
~ Dogs currently in a Cooperative Care program with Perky Pet.
Not all dogs enjoy being walked. Specialized Visits are tailored to those dogs too, with maximized at-home enrichment and exercise.
Minimum 2x weekly visits required.
Specialized Walk clients also get priority access to service upgrades, moving to the top of waitlists for other services such as Day Training.
