Greetings, pet parents!

Animals are my life's passion.

My very first job was walking my next door neighbor's black lab, Fredd, every day after school. Then, I worked for many years as supervisor for a cat, bird, and small mammal animal shelter. Next, I gained an invaluable education as a veterinary assistant. In 2021, I started my pet care company focusing on providing care to families who had pets with complex care requirements, such as pets with specific medical needs or severe anxiety.

Now, I am a Certified Dog Trainer and Fear Free Certified cooperative care advocate, ready to help even more families live happier lives with their pets!

I am a lifelong advocate for animal rights and I love science.

As a VSA Certified Dog Trainer, Fear Free Certified Professional, and member of the Association for Professional Dog Trainers, my training methods are pledged to align with what the data shows is the most effective training methodology: fear free, positive reinforcement techniques to ensure the long term mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing of the pets in my care.

I love to learn and am committed to my continuing education so I stay up-to-date on the most current data and information on training methods, pet behavior, and pet cognition. I specialize in helping cats, dogs, and other household pets overcome their fear, stress, and anxiety surrounding husbandry and handling. I am passionate about showing pet owners how they can help their pets gain confidence in frightening environments and stressful moments.

I have a bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus on wildlife management, a master's degree in sustainability, and a heart full of unconditional love for every living thing. When I am not completely focused on my clients' precious pets, my favorite pastimes are singing, gardening, puzzling, and adventuring with my husband & our two incredible rescue dogs.
